Annual membership scale for 2024 adviser organisations:
Small 1 to 9 Advisers
£322 per head
Medium 10 to 49 Advisers
£268 per head
Large 50-199 Advisers
£214 per head
Major 200+ Advisers
£209 per head
*NB: An application fee of £70.00 would be required for each individual associated with the application

Advisers
The Council welcomes applications from adviser firms subject to the following criteria:
Directly authorised (DA)
All qualified advisers who have the relevant permissions to provide advice on equity release must join along with the firm’s application. The Council’s membership team must be notified as and when eligible advisers join and leave the firm. Annual membership fees are calculated by headcount in each DA firm (see fees table).
Appointed representative (AR)
Applications will only be accepted from ARs whose principal is a member. See our member directory for the current list.
Upon joining, AR firm fees are the same as DA fees, charged on pro rata basis to bring the firm in line with their network’s renewal date. Upon renewal ARs may qualify for a network rate.
Ready to join?
- You must complete a firm application and an individual application for each eligible adviser applicant. Please note all individual applications must be connected to a new or existing firm.
- The Council reserves the right to change fee rates at point of renewal.
- Applications take up to four weeks to process. We will keep you updated along the way.
- Fees are payable once your application has been approved, upon receipt of the invoice.
