I've been in the mortgage business for a number of years, having started working in the Finance Sector in 2014, covering various different roles and working up the ladder from Customer Service Consultant to working in the banking sector and becoming a Personal Banking Manager. I then decided to become qualified in mortgages, as this was the part of Financial Services that I felt most able to be of help to people & I qualified in 2019, becoming a Mortgage and Protection adviser with Nationwide for a year.

I then left there to work for London and Country Mortgage for a short stint before moving onto the Age Partnership where I became a Later Life Specialist, arranging mortgages for all ages, but predominantly people over 50 where I undertook RIO’s ('retirement interest only') mortgages and TIO’s ('term interest only') plus standard conventional Mortgages including Buy to Lets.

As this area of the Industry is the one I find most interesting and I enjoy helping people be able to enjoy their later years without financial stress, I have now become a fully qualified Lifetime Mortgage Specialist, so that I can explore all the various avenues available to people to help in this area.
