The Autumn edition of the 2017 Equity Release Market Report comes at a time when the challenge of ensuring consumers are equipped with adequate financial provision in later life has never been more at the centre of public debate. The UK’s older population continues to grow and the reality of a shift from defined benefit (DB) to defined contribution (DC) pensions will likely result in future retirees facing a greater shortfall in later life than previous generations unless a blend of savings, wealth and assets are used to fund retirement.
As part of an Adviser Engagement Initiative to bring more advisers into the equity release market, Pure Retirement are this Autumn hosting a series of educational webinars for advisers new to the market, considering entry or simply wanting to learn a bit more about how to grow their business in equity release.
With guest speakers including Pure’s own CEO, the Equity Release Council, Specialist Equity Release Solicitors and last year’s Award Winning Advisers, there will also be opportunity for live Q&A for all attendees at the end of every session.
Kicking off this September, the Lifetime Mortgages: Back to School series will run until November this year, entirely free of charge for advisers who wish to find out more about the ways in which they can provide support for their older customers.
